Skeleton crowd and snow simulation in Houdini by Instereo
Game of thrones inspired crowd and snow animation for my reel. All elements are made in Houdini and comped in Nuke. Firstly I thought about simulating all ground beneath skeletons with grains, but unfortunately it was too heavy, so I had to make some workarounds with scattering particles on skeletons and detaching them based on velocity. Skeleton models were downloaded from some free 3D models site, animation and rigs were made with mixamo.
